ARKESSA CEO UPDATE: COVID-19

It was almost a month ago that I last wrote to you, just as the isolation measures to combat COVID-19 were being put in place across the UK.

The last month has seen the world around us change considerably, and of course the ways in which we live, work, and interact with one another have changed too.

As always, our thoughts are with all of those who have been personally affected by COVID-19, and of course with all of the frontline workers facing this challenge.

Following the announcement by the UK government to extend the isolation measures for a further few weeks, I wanted to touch base with you all once again to keep you updated on the Arkessa response to the COVID-19 crisis.

The majority of our teams continue to work remotely, and we have found strong communication to be the key to working successfully together in these challenging times. There is still a core team who are working safely at Arkessa HQ to ensure continuity of service for all our customers, and I would like to thank them and the whole team for their dedication and commitment.

The team has worked hard to keep disruption to a minimum, despite external factors affecting lead times for some deliveries, and we thank you for your patience while we navigate any challenges.  This week the UK postal service has slightly relaxed their restricted opening times to make things a little easier.

For all of us, future planning is an additional challenge with uncertainty around the timing and processes that will make up an exit strategy from the current measures. The Arkessa teams are well prepared to work remotely, continue to support customers, and to deliver the highest level of service, for as long as it takes.

When the time is right and as you begin to have visibility of your own exit strategies, we encourage you to let us know how we can help you and also to communicate your connectivity requirements with us as soon as you can.
