Mosaic Data Centre

Arkessa’s extensive Data Centre lies at the heart of the Mosaic suite of services.  It collects and collates all field data in a single secure repository specific to each customer in our industrial-strength data centre.

Mosaic simplifies the whole process of setting up an M2M facility.

This is more than a secure database because it also provides two Smart Gateways: one to the remote equipment and the other for user access.  In this way it solves the two key challenges of:

• Interfacing many different types of remote equipment thereby translating data into a common format for storage
• Providing a secure gateway to the Mosaic web services portals and dashboards or directly to corporate IT and ERP systems

The Mosaic Data Centre is supported by a dedicated Throughput Manager designed specifically to manage the data flow to and from remote equipment.  This ensures that the database is efficiently managed, containing all current data ready for onward transmission or retrieval.
