Mosaic Data Miner

Mosaic Data Miner is a powerful analytical tool kit that enables the user to drill down into historical data to understand what is happening in their remote estate.

This facility builds on the Mosaic Control Panel, which displays a dashboard of current and real-time activity, remote controls and some trends.  It makes use of the archive data stored in the Mosaic Data Vault, which archives the data for as long as required.

Key features

  • An environment designed to support data-mining
  • Reports can be set up to delivered automatically on a regular basis
  • Ad hoc reports and analysis can be prepared as required using the comprehensive query tool kit
  • An analysis framework and structure to support various data-mining tools
  • A tool kit facility to generate complex and ad-hoc reports
  • A presentational framework to enable reports to be viewed by operational staff and customers rather than specialist IT professionals
  • The tools will enable ‘standard’ regular reports to be designed by internal users on a regular basis
  • It is also possible to design and generate regular reports to be delivered to external parties, customers or other key participants associated with the remote facilities
  • Analysis tools will be provided and supported by Arkessa
  • Training will be provided to ensure efficient, effective and creative use of the facility

Regular reports

Many organisations require a regular statistical report about their operations.  These can be easily set up using the Mosaic Data Miner and will be delivered automatically on a regular basis.

  • ‘Standard reports’ can be built to analyse and represent almost any set of criteria so long as the relevant data exists in the Mosaic Data Vault.  This may include, for example, a profile of remote events or aggregate data over a cross section of the estate.
  • ‘Standard reports’ can be delivered on a regular basis.  If desired, Arkessa will provide training to support the creation and delivery of ‘Standard Reports’.
  •  Reports can be updated and ‘delivered’ on a regular basis (e.g. daily /weekly /monthly).

Other technical features

  • Users have full access to the archive data via the data mining facility without risk to the archive itself
  • Data is ‘mined’ from a database ‘sub-set’ extracted from the central archive.  This analysis database is provided to preserve the integrity of the data archive and speed up processing time
